Account & Data Deletion
At BEYOND Community Indonesia, we respect your right to control your personal data. You may request the deletion of your account and all associated personal information at any time.
Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Please make sure you want to proceed before submitting a request.
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: Through the App (Recommended)
- Open the BEYOND Community app on your device.
- Go to Profile → Settings.
- Scroll down and tap "Delete Account".
- Confirm your identity by entering your password or using biometric authentication.
- Review the information about what will be deleted and tap "Confirm Deletion".
Option 2: Via Email
If you cannot access the app, send an email to support@beyond-community.id with:
- Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- Your registered email address
- Your member code (e.g., BYD00001)
- Reason for deletion (optional)
We will verify your identity and process your request within 7 business days.
What Gets Deleted
Upon account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:
- ✅ Personal information (name, email, phone, address)
- ✅ Profile photo / avatar
- ✅ Vehicle registration data (VIN, plate, model)
- ✅ Uploaded proof documents (STNK photos)
- ✅ Digital membership card
- ✅ Push notification tokens
- ✅ Authentication credentials (password, 2FA, passkeys)
- ✅ Event RSVPs and service complaints
What May Be Retained
The following may be retained for legitimate purposes:
- 📋 Chat messages you sent in community groups will be anonymized (author shown as "Deleted Member") but not removed, to preserve conversation context for other members.
- 📋 Anonymized, aggregated statistical data (e.g., total member count) that cannot identify you.
- 📋 Records required by Indonesian law for compliance or legal obligations.
Processing Timeline
- In-App Deletion: Processed immediately. Data removed within 30 days.
- Email Request: Identity verification within 3 business days. Data removed within 30 days of verification.
After Deletion
- You will be logged out of all devices.
- You will lose access to all community features, chat groups, and membership benefits.
- You may create a new account in the future, but previous data cannot be recovered.
